The First Tech Challenge is a program run by FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology). In this program, teams compete in any selection of random challenges each year. Teams build a fully functional robot which will perform the task laid out in the challenge. These FTC competitions have real world applications in a world where science and technology are further permeating our society.

Our team comes from Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale, New Jersey. We are very grateful that we receive many generous donations from our school, and we try to pay the school and local community back by attending events such as Relay for Life, and the E-Waste Recycling program, which we will be attending as a team in the Fall of 2013.
